Rappa is a 5-star Imaginary Erudition character in the game Honkai: Star Rail. She is the first and only Imaginary Erudition character.
She is an AOE (area of effect) break effect DPS character, meaning that she specializes in dealing damage to multiple enemies by breaking their toughness. She is similar to the character Firefly, but with better AOE damage.
Attacks
Rappa’s basic attack and skill do mediocre damage.
Her ultimate, called Sealform, makes her take an extra turn
and enter the Sealform state, where she gets three points of Chroma Ink. In
this state, she also increases her weakness break efficiency by 50% and break
effect by 30%. She cannot use her ultimate or skill again while in Sealform.
The enhanced basic attack is a 3-step attack:
- The first two attacks are blast attacks that hit one target and the adjacent enemies. The player can choose which enemies are hit by the blast attacks.
- The third attack hits all enemies.
Talent
Rappa’s talent gives her a stack system called Charge. For every enemy whose weakness is broken, Rappa gains one Charge, up to a maximum of 10. Each charge increases the break damage multiplier on the third hit of her enhanced basic attack combo by 50%. This means that at 10 charges, she has a 560% Break DMG multiplier.
Technique
Her technique allows her to “surf” for 20 seconds, during which she blocks all enemy attacks. If she runs into an enemy, it counts as an attack. After entering combat, her technique will deal 30 toughness reduction, regardless of weakness type, and break damage equal to 200% of her Imaginary break damage to each enemy target. She will also regenerate 10 energy.
How to Build Rappa
Prioritize break effect and attack, as these are the stats that scale her break and super break damage. A good stat goal is around 3,400 attack, 145 speed, and 250% break effect.

- Iron Cavalry (4-piece): buffs both break and super break damage
- Thief of Shooting Meteor (4-piece): provides flat energy, which ensures Rappa can use her ultimate consistently
- Eagle of Twilight Line (4-piece): allows for powerful turn manipulation when paired with Dance Dance Dance on Harmony Trailblazer
